Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans based on physician orders
• Deliver skilled occupational therapy to help patients improve independence in daily living
• Create and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in line with state regulations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all safety, regulatory, and facility standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
• Active West Virginia OT license or the ability to obtain one before starting
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration abilities
• A passion for helping patients regain independence

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient evaluation and re-evaluation
• Individualized treatment and discharge planning
• Supervision of COTAs and support staff
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and family education
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
