Based in Portland or Bend, OR, you’ll work on exciting and engaging projects and utilize your highway/roadway design expertise. Using your experience, you’ll lead teams on our larger projects, working directly with the Portland and WSDOT Olympic Region offices and their transportation team to solve complex problems. You will take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions, identify applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex problems, and be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living by leading functional teams or projects and serving as a best practice/quality resource. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering At least 5 years of experience in transportation work with an emphasis on roadway/highway and geometrics final design and/or Maintenance of Traffic and Traffic Control final design Professional Engineering license MicroStation/Inroads and OpenRoads background Experience with plans preparation, specifications, estimates and design documentation Preferred Qualifications Experience with multi‑discipline infrastructure engineering design and construction projects ADA design experience Previous WA or OR Department of Transportation experience Benefits Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
