Help students reach their communication goals as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist serving K-6 learners via a part-time contract opportunity. Engage with a supportive school community while delivering essential speech therapy services either 1 full day per week or across 2 half days. This role offers the flexibility of teletherapy, school-based, or pediatric SLP settings, ideal for professionals seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic educational environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license
- Proficiency in school-based SLP, pediatric SLP, and teletherapy practices preferred
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Strong interpersonal skills and passion for working with elementary-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, voice, language, and fluency disorders in students from kindergarten through 6th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Provide both direct and consultative services to students, families, and educational teams
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and maintain timely records and documentation
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs within an engaging school-based or virtual setting
