This six-month local contract supports adults ranging in age from 23 to 95 with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health needs. This opportunity is ideal for experienced CNAs looking for stable full-time hours, meaningful work, and long-term contract stability in a structured care environment.

Position Overview

Six-month local contract assignment Paid 4-week orientation before working independently Provide direct care for approximately 250 adult residents ages 23-95 Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and behavioral support Work alongside Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, and an interdisciplinary care team Support adults with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health needs in a Pennsylvania state-operated Intermediate Care Facility August and September orientation classes now forming

Compensation

Local Pay: $26.00 per hour Paid 4-week orientation Overtime available after successful completion of orientation Overtime paid at $39.00 per hour (1.5x base rate) Weekly pay

Schedule

Full-Time Six-Month Contract 1st Shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM-10:30 PM 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM-6:30 AM Paid Monday-Friday Orientation

Requirements

Active Pennsylvania CNA certification REQUIRED Previous CNA experience preferred Behavioral health, intellectual disability, dementia, long-term care, skilled nursing, hospital, or state facility experience preferred Must be comfortable working with adults who may display challenging behaviors Compassionate, dependable, and able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team Must be able to complete all required state clearances and onboarding requirements Not ready to formally apply?
