About the Position

Anesthesiologist

Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to provide ongoing hospital-based coverage. The provider will deliver anesthesia services across a broad range of surgical specialties and must be comfortable performing regional (nerve block) anesthesia and occasional overnight call.

Compensation: Hourly: $370/hr, Night Call: $930/shift, Call Back: $445/hr.

10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)


Occasional 16-hour call shifts


Weeknight call as needed (3:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Acute Care Hospital


Hospital-based Anesthesiology


Collaborative anesthesia care model supervising CRNAs (1:3 ratio)

Responsibilities


Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and procedural cases


Supervise CRNAs in a 1:3 care team model


Perform regional (nerve block) anesthesia for high-volume orthopedic cases


Participate in occasional overnight call coverage


Provide anesthesia for:


Vascular Surgery


OB/GYN


General Surgery


Gastroenterology


Pediatrics


Plastic Surgery


Orthopedics


Robotic Surgery


Urology

EMR: Epic

Requirements


Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology


Active Pennsylvania license (licensing candidates accepted)


ACLS and PALS certifications


Minimum 2 years of experience preferred


Must be proficient in:


Regional (nerve block) anesthesia


MAC


Spinal anesthesia


Ultrasound-guided techniques


Must be willing to take occasional overnight call
