Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Springfield, MO. This position is responsible for overseeing HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. The Human Resources Manager will administer compensation and benefits programs, maintain HR policies and compliance, and support leadership with workforce planning and organizational development. Day-to-day tasks include partnering with managers on staffing needs, coaching team members on HR processes, maintaining accurate HR records, and ensuring adherence to employment laws and company standards. The role also involves promoting an inclusive, engaging workplace culture and supporting training and development initiatives. Qualifications HR operations and administration skills, including experience with recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and benefits administration. Employee relations and communication skills, including conflict resolution, coaching, and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization. Knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and policy development, with experience maintaining accurate documentation and HR records. Organizational and analytical skills, including proficiency with HRIS systems, reporting tools, and data-driven decision-making. Ability to collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and change management initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is beneficial. Prior experience in an HR Manager or similar HR leadership role, preferably within professional services, legal, or insurance-related environments.
