Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, including the processing and requisitioning of supplies, delivering and packaging materials for shipment, supervising and coordinating warehouse personnel, and ensuring compliance with productivity goals and operating objectives.

The role involves training employees on safety and procedures, collaborating with internal and external customers to resolve discrepancies, preparing work schedules, addressing personnel complaints, and assisting in process improvement and productivity statistics compilation.

The Warehouse Supervisor must ensure the warehouse is maintained in a sanitary manner, inform the Full-Time Supervisor of potential problems, and act as backup in their absence. They are also responsible for reviewing employee time and attendance records and addressing performance issues.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, leadership ability, problem-solving skills, dedication to high performance standards, strong communication skills, and reach truck experience. Technical expertise in Microsoft Office, warehouse operations, and equipment operation is required.

Additional employment requirements include passing a background check and drug screen, holding a valid driver's license, and demonstrating effective time management, communication, research, presentation, attention to detail, organization, and critical thinking skills.

The position involves light to medium work with frequent walking, occasional lifting of 25-50 lbs., and working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including hazardous conditions and extreme cold.

The equipment operated includes a desktop computer, fax machine, copier, desk phone, and cell phone, along with systems like Outlook, Excel, and Word.
