Job Description

At High Steel Structures, we fabricate the backbone of America's infrastructure. We are currently hiring for a 3rd-shift Outdoor Industrial Skilled Laborer. Third-shift coworkers receive a 25% shift differential, and work 4 nights per week, Mon-Thurs, 8:30pm - 7:00am. The duties include performing all required duties to pre-punch or pre-drilled holes at splice section of steel bridge girders, matching mark plates, walking with and guiding the MI Jack, chaining products to trucks, setting blocking for loading and storing products, assisting with onside iron work duties, and using electric drills to drill holes where needed.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is required. Willingness to work outdoors, 100% of the time, in all weather conditions, is required. Previous steel erection or general laborer experience preferred. Previous rigging experience desired. Experience using hand and power tools, including drills. Forklift certification desired, or willingness to obtain while on the job. A valid PA driver's license is required. Prior experience in truck driving preferred. Experience operating a yard crane or travel lift is a plus. Willingness to learn and operate Mi-Jack equipment. The ability to read, write, and follow directions.
