Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with teachers, occupational therapists, and families to help students develop fine motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and greater independence in daily classroom activities. Your expertise will make a meaningful impact on students’ educational experiences.
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of school-based therapy documentation and best practices
- Ability to work confidently and compassionately with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to elementary-aged students according to IEPs
- Conduct group and one-on-one sessions to address student goals
- Collaborate with OTs, teachers, and school staff to support academic and functional skills
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes
- Participate in team meetings and provide input for student growth
- Adapt therapy activities to meet diverse needs within the classroom environment
Schedule Details:
- Part-time, contract position
- 18 hours per week, spread over 3 days (Monday through Friday)
- Start time: 8:30am; End time: 2:30pm
