EBSH Interim Assistant Administrator – Whittier, CA Position: Interim Assistant Administrator Location: Whittier, CA Employment: Full Time Annual Salary: $74,000 Hours: 8‑hour shift, on‑call Redwood Family Care Network is an innovative leader delivering person‑centered home and community‑based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. JOB SUMMARY

Assist the Administrator with overseeing daily activities in the home while providing high‑quality care to clients. Help establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures. Collaborate with management, staff, and family members to ensure clients’ health, safety, and overall well‑being.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with the Administrator to develop daily operations of the home(s). Manage direct reports, including coaching, counseling, discipline, and performance management. Recruit, hire, and train new staff. Implement departmental policies, goals, and procedures in consultation with management and staff. Maintain client and facility files as required by California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 17. Prepare and submit quarterly progress reports in accordance with CCR. Coordinate with agencies and service providers (e.g., Regional Center, Community Care Licensing, day programs). Participate in individual program plan, transition, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Obtain medical, dental, and emergency evaluations and coordinate follow‑up care. Manage financial costs for the home(s), including supplies, utilities, and labor.Assign duties and create work schedules for staff. Perform related duties and assignments as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Adult Residential Facility Administrator Certification (ARF) Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT) DSP I and DSP II certificates CPR/FA and CPI certification High‑school diploma or equivalent

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED; some college preferred. Minimum two years of experience supporting clients with developmental disabilities who exhibit Level 4I or higher behaviors requiring special services.
