Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Tue12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government services location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to enforce site rules, verifying authorized entry, directing visitors, and addressing policy-related concerns with professionalism and respect. Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining logs, and relaying observations related to resident activity, property concerns, and/or security-related issues to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
