What You Will Be Doing Facilitating one‑hour live workshops on life skills (public speaking, focus, feedback exchange) for K‑8 cohorts, executing Alpha’s established playbook rather than creating new content Conducting motivation sessions that leverage student data and Alpha’s incentive systems (school currency, leaderboards) to achieve 100% goal completion across cohorts Developing Guides on program adherence and standards execution, with each coaching interaction yielding specific improvement actions Managing your own student cohort while simultaneously coaching other Guides Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal completion percentages, and Guide performance indicators weekly to identify underperformance early What You Won’t Be Doing Teaching or tutoring students on academic content. Basic Requirements Available to work on‑site at one of the following locations: Atlanta, GA; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Austin, TX; Keller (Fort Worth), TX; The Woodlands (Houston), TX (relocation assistance available) Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline 5+ years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or equivalent field Demonstrated history of managing a team of 5 or more adults, including responsibility for hiring and performance‑based termination decisions Hands‑on experience working with children aged 5‑14 in educational or developmental contexts Experience building, launching, or substantially scaling a program, team, business, school, or initiative from inception Documented use of data and metrics to establish weekly objectives and inform decisions, beyond passive reporting Legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada Nice‑to‑have Requirements Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or related discipline Experience coaching athletics, leading experiential or wilderness programs, directing camps, or managing youth ministry at a scale requiring cohort management and outcome measurement Transitioned from classroom teaching to program development or operations roles in EdTech, tutoring organizations, youth nonprofits, or school intervention programs Early‑career record of exceptional individual performance—academic, athletic, or professional—prior to transitioning to leadership Conviction that the existing education system requires fundamental restructuring and personal commitment to that mission About Alpha Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning, stronger mentorship, and more time for students to build real‑world skills.
