We are seeking an experienced  MIG Production Welder to join our manufacturing operations. This position focuses on fabrication welding of metal-structured equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Key welding requirement: Candidates must have strong MIG welding experience with  galvanized sheet metal ranging from 20-gauge to 12-gauge (approximately 0.04–0.10 inches thick) . Experience consistently producing high-quality welds on thin-gauge material is essential.

All candidates will be required to successfully complete a  hands-on weld test during the interview process to demonstrate proficiency with MIG welding and thin-gauge materials.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Strong MIG welding experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience welding  thin-gauge galvanized sheet metal, approximately 20-gauge to 12-gauge (0.04–0.10 inches) .
• Ability to maintain consistent, high-quality welds in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to read and follow welding specifications, blueprints, drawings, routers, and work instructions.
• Ability to make basic machine adjustments based on job specifications and material requirements.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools, including rulers and tape measures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Ability to successfully complete a weld test during the interview process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized welding trade school or vocational welding program.
• Two to three years of related welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or production experience and/or training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate welding machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform MIG welding and fabrication of metal-structured equipment.
• Weld thin-gauge galvanized sheet metal while maintaining required quality standards.
• Read job specifications to determine machine settings, adjustments, and material requirements.
• Read and interpret drawings, routers, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Measure workpiece dimensions to verify accuracy and quality.
• Weld efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members and be available to perform duties throughout production as needed.
• Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and welding equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
• Operate other equipment as necessary to perform assigned duties.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two to three years of related experience and/or training preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Welding trade school or vocational training is a plus.

Skills and AbilitiesMathematical Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to perform basic measurements and calculations required for welding and fabrication.

Reasoning and Communication

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, routers, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Ability to use basic hand-held measuring tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will regularly be required to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Use hands and fingers to handle tools, equipment, and materials.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend.
• Talk and hear in a manufacturing environment.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds.

Specific vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced manufacturing and production environment.
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, welding operations, and other industrial equipment.
• Noise levels are typically loud.
• Must be able to work safely around machinery and other production activities.

Training Requirements

• General Safety Training
• Basic Machine Operating Safety

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Required PPE must be worn at all times, including:

• Safety glasses/shields
• Welding smock/apron
• Hearing protection/ear plugs
• Work gloves
• Steel-toed safety shoes

Candidates must successfully complete a  hands-on MIG welding test during the interview process .
