About the Position

An established healthcare system in York, Pennsylvania, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage.

They are open to flexible availability ranging from one week per month to a full-time Monday-through-Friday schedule.

Position Highlights

• Ongoing locum tenens assignment
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Hours: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• One week per month through full-time availability considered
• Outpatient clinic setting
• No mandatory call
• Night and weekend call coverage preferred
• Approximately 25 patients per day
• Epic EMR
• Strong clinical support team

Scope of Practice

Responsibilities include maternal-fetal medicine consultations, diagnostic ultrasound services, ultrasound interpretation, Level II targeted studies, and fetal echocardiography.

The physician should be comfortable managing high-risk pregnancies involving:

• Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and HELLP syndrome
• Type I, Type II, and gestational diabetes
• Maternal cardiac, pulmonary, renal, and neurological conditions
• Autoimmune, hematologic, and oncologic disorders
• Placenta previa and placental abruption
• Multiple gestations
• Amniocentesis and genetic evaluations

• 2 medical assistants
• 2 advanced practice providers
