K9 Recruitment is a boutique recruitment agency specializing in ERP and technology hiring across the manufacturing and distribution industries. Founded in 2025, we have built our reputation by focusing on specialized markets, developing genuine relationships with clients and candidates, and actually understanding the technologies and industries we recruit within.

Our core expertise is within the Epicor ERP ecosystem, including Epicor Kinetic, E10, Prophet 21, and related technologies. We also support clients utilizing other ERP platforms such as Sage X3, Acumatica, Odoo, and SAP.

We work with manufacturing and distribution companies throughout the United States and Canada on permanent, contract, and contract-to-hire recruitment.

We are growing and looking for a recruiter who wants the opportunity to help build a recruitment company, not simply inherit a desk inside a massive staffing agency.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a driven 360 Recruiter. This position will involve both business development and candidate recruitment , giving you ownership of your desk from identifying new clients through successfully placing candidates.

You will work directly with K9 Recruitment's founder and have the opportunity to build your own client base and specialized market within the company. This is best suited for someone who enjoys the entrepreneurial side of agency recruitment and wants autonomy, earning potential, and the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on a growing business.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and manage your own recruitment desk within a specialized ERP/technology market
• Develop new client relationships through outbound business development
• Identify manufacturing and distribution companies with current or upcoming hiring needs
• Conduct prospecting through LinkedIn, email, phone, referrals, and industry networking
• Build long-term relationships with hiring managers and business leaders
• Source and headhunt qualified candidates
• Conduct detailed candidate qualification calls
• Present candidates to clients with clear, consultative candidate summaries
• Manage candidates throughout the entire interview process
• Prepare candidates for interviews and gather detailed feedback afterward
• Negotiate offers and help successfully close placements
• Maintain strong relationships with candidates after placement
• Develop a strong understanding of your recruitment market and become a trusted resource within it
• Maintain accurate candidate and client activity within our CRM
• Collaborate with the K9 Recruitment team while maintaining ownership of your desk

What We're Looking For

Previous agency recruitment experience is strongly preferred. We're especially interested in recruiters who have worked within specialized or technical recruitment markets such as:

• ERP / enterprise software
• IT and technology
• Engineering
• Manufacturing
• Supply chain
• Professional services
• Other niche technical markets

You should also be:

• Comfortable with both recruiting and business development
• Confident making outbound calls and developing new relationships
• Competitive and motivated by results
• Strong at relationship-building rather than transactional recruiting
• Organized and capable of managing multiple searches simultaneously
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Professional and credible when speaking with candidates and senior-level clients
• Curious and willing to learn highly specialized technical markets
• Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be given tasks or job orders
