Medical Assistant (No Certification Required!)Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Location

• Initially floating between Internal Medicine and Primary Care Northshore (same building)
• Training provided at both the front desk and clinical areas
• By November, primarily assigned to Primary Care Northshore
• Will assist with coverage for multiple maternity leaves

Position Overview

Join a busy Primary Care clinic and work directly alongside a physician, supporting patient care through both clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out
• Order laboratory tests and coordinate follow-up care
• Answer incoming patient calls
• Prepare and stock exam rooms
• Perform Point-of-Care (POC) testing
• Refill medications as directed
• Document and manage patient information within the EMR system
• Support general clinic and office operations

QualificationsRequired

• Previous Medical Assistant experience
• Comfortable working in a clinical setting
• Ability to work independently
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt

Preferred

• Experience working in a physician office or clinic
• Knowledge of Cerner/PowerChart

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
