Automation Tech, Distribution (3rd shift)

Position Summary Helps establish and implement projects, plans, and procedures for the automation facility. Integrates advanced knowledge of programmable logic controllers, high and low voltage power systems, and communication systems to conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex automated systems. Schedule Hours: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am Sunday night to 11:00 pm start and Friday morning 7:00 am for the week. 3rd shift. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Maintenance Mechanic experience in a Distribution Center/Warehouse Experience using a variety of hand and powered tools Must obtain PIT (Power Industrial Truck) certification/license to operate powered equipment within 90 days (training provided) Experience troubleshooting 24vDC up to 480vDC Basic PLC knowledge and troubleshooting of circuits Ability to read schematics Preferred Qualifications Experience with HVAC Electrical systems knowledge Conveyor knowledge and repair/troubleshooting Education Minimum HS education.
