Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (occasional 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM shifts as needed) | Every other weekend and holiday coverage expected | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health populations
• Deliver care within a facility specializing in cath lab services, women's health, and stroke care, including STEMI and Stroke response
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation throughout each shift
• Complete a compliance EKG exam as required (up to 2 attempts allowed)
• Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable; average 2–4 hours, separate from new employee orientation)
• Float to other system campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible; current driver's license required to verify address
• No open background check cases permitted
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application — no post-submission RTO accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for high-acuity and complex patient populations including sepsis and oncology
• Familiarity with cath lab, women's health, or stroke care environments
• Strong adaptability and comfort working across multiple campus settings
