In this hands-on, precision-driven role, you will be responsible for machining high-quality parts using manual equipment, reading blueprints, and contributing to a team that takes pride in craftsmanship and zero-defect production. In a Machinist B (Manual) job you'll be responsible for:

• Operating horizontal and vertical milling machines, lathes, radial manual machines, drill taps, key seaters, and band saws
• Performing quality checks on parts produced to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings using precision measuring devices
• Operating overhead crane and/or forklift as needed
• Following all safety rules and maintaining a clean work area

What you'll need:

• 3-5 years of experience in a machine shop using manual machines
• Ability to set up and operate multiple machines including horizontal and vertical milling machines
• Experience with crane and forklift operations
• Ability to perform pattern and hole layouts for structural steel and/or fabricated parts
• High School diploma or equivalent (Machine Tool Technology degree a plus)

Schedule: 2nd (3rd) shift 5:00 pm - 5:30 am Monday - Thursday

Pay rate: $28-$30/hour
