Highland Square  is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator.

Must have experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility. 

Highland Square is located in Akron, OH off of West Market St. Highland Square is a long term, skilled nursing facility. We are looking for a motivated HR Coordinator wanting to boost staff morale and work to create a fun environment for staff.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing payroll bi-weekly and updating personnel policies

• Coordinating interviews for new staff

• On-boarding new hires and organize orientations

• Develop and maintain relationships with employees, residents, visitors, vendors, and the corporate office.

• Work hard to manage a fun working environment for staff

• Create monthly and weekly events for staff

• Work hard at staff recruitment and retention

Requirements:

• Two years of experience as an HR Coordinator in Long Term Healthcare or Skilled Nursing Facility. 

• Software proficiency such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public Must have knowledge of billing and collection practices/techniques

• Superior organization skills and attention to detail.

• Proven ability to multi-task.
