Travel LPN
Travel LPN for a skilled nursing/long-term care facility in Akron, Colorado. The role covers day or night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule with rotating weekends. The assignment supports patient care in a skilled nursing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health status and update care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol
- Document all patient interactions and changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities
- Assist patients with daily activities and mobility
- Provide wound care and hygiene support
- Maintain infection control standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and families
- Adapt to changing patient needs and shift demands
- Ensure accurate and timely charting
- Support staff during shift transitions
Qualifications:
- Active LPN license
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts
- Ability to work rotating weekends
- Strong clinical skills
- Team-oriented approach
- Reliable and adaptable
Preferred Skills:
- Skilled Nursing/LTC experience
