Registered Nurse - Acute Care

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
• Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Current RN license in state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor: Required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (ENPC meets PALS requirements): Required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• One year recent acute care RN experience: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate and manage patient care, delegating tasks as necessary.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Accurately administer and document medications according to hospital policies.
• Recognize and respond to signs of cardiac or respiratory distress and other emergencies.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education initiatives.
