Professional Pet Sitter & Dog Walker – Providence Area Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is hiring professional pet sitters and dog walkers in the Providence area. Current Priority Coverage Needs Weekday mornings (7 AM–10 AM) Weekday afternoons (11 AM–1 PM or 11 AM–3 PM) Weekday evenings (4 PM–6 PM) Night availability (7 PM–9 PM) Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) Availability Requirements We are hiring for multiple recurring coverage positions. Applicants should be consistently available for one or more designated service blocks: Monday–Friday Service Blocks – Mornings (7 AM–10 AM), Afternoons (11 AM–1 PM or 11 AM–3 PM), Evenings (4 PM–6 PM), Nights (7 PM–9 PM) Weekend Service Blocks – 7 AM–9 AM, 11 AM–1 PM or 11 AM–3 PM, 4 PM–6 PM, 7 PM–9 PM Ideal Candidates Have professional animal experience (pet sitting, veterinary, shelter, daycare, grooming, training, etc.) Are dependable, responsive, organized, and experienced working independently Live locally within Providence, RI or within approximately 10–15 minutes of the area Can independently manage travel routes between client homes Are comfortable working within an assigned schedule based on business demand Want ongoing work opportunities with a professional team Important Scheduling Expectations Scheduling assignments are based on client demand and business needs. Team members are responsible for managing their travel routes between visits and arriving reliably and on time to assigned appointments. Compensation & Position Information Per‑visit pay structure based on visit length, experience, certifications, availability, and performance: 15-minute visit: $9 20-minute visit: $10 30-minute visit: $10.50 45-minute visit: $12 (approximately 75% of the approved hourly-equivalent rate) 60-minute/hours: starting at $16/hour equivalent, with opportunities to increase up to $18/hour equivalent based on experience, certifications, reliability, availability, performance, and overall operational consistency Additional compensation includes mileage reimbursement, tips, paid certifications and continuing education opportunities, and increased earnings based on performance, reliability, flexibility, and client demand. All newly hired team members begin at the Pet Care Trainee level while completing onboarding and learning company systems and protocols.
