Staff Attorney

McDowell Hetherington LLP, a commercial litigation firm of over 60 attorneys with a nationwide practice, is seeking candidates for a staff attorney position in its Houston office. This commitment begins in 2026 and has the potential opportunity to continue to grow with the firm based on performance and workflow. Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree and Texas Bar admission
• 1-2 years of prior legal experience
• Work in person full time
• Highly responsive

Day to Day Duties:

• Perform factual legal research, analysis, and document review
• Work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Exercise strong time management and interpersonal skills
