Responsibilities:

• Verify and process standard hospital pharmacy orders with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy.
• Manage medication dispensing and provide clinical support as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience with standard hospital pharmacy orders and product verification is required.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system is preferred.
• Hold an active Alaska pharmacist license or temporary license accepted; candidates without an active license must apply within 24 hours of acceptance.
• Ability to work holiday shifts as needed, which are typically 4-5 hours in duration.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts with flexible start times between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
