About This Role As an RN in Hospice at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide compassionate care to patients and their families during end-of-life transitions. Highlights Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour Location: Independence, OH Facility: Cleveland Clinic Schedule: Full-time, Evening shift What You'll Do Provide supervision, assessment, planning, and direct patient care to hospice patients. Perform accurate and complete admissions assessments and re‑assessments. Assess patients for safety risks, abuse, and neglect. Assess, document, and manage patient’s pain. Prioritize and document patient problems. Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately with a focus on patient comfort. Coordinate care for managing a caseload of patients. Document changes in patient condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care/interventions. Evaluate, update, and revise plans of care. Assess educational needs of patients, caregivers, and family while considering cultural issues and other special challenges. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing BSN preferred Experience 1+ years of current clinical experience as an RN 1+ year of experience in an acute medical‑surgical or critical care setting Licenses & Certifications Current RN License in Ohio Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Valid Driver’s License (VDL) and proof of automobile insurance with 100,000/300,000 coverage required Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Certification preferred About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
