This position supports production goals by following standardized work instructions, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to all safety requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Assemble electrical components, harnesses, switches, modules, and related products according to work instructions and engineering specifications.Perform soldering, crimping, wiring, and mechanical assembly operations as required.Operate production equipment, hand tools, power tools, and testing devices safely and efficiently.Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify product quality and compliance with specifications.Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of electrical assemblies.Identify and report quality concerns, equipment malfunctions, and safety issues.Complete production documentation, quality records, and work orders accurately.Maintain workstations using 5S and lean manufacturing principles.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.Work collaboratively with team members, quality personnel, maintenance technicians, and supervisors to meet production schedules.RequirementsEducation/Training:RequiredHigh school diploma or GED.Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred.Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and specifications.Basic understanding of electrical components and wiring practices.Ability to use measuring devices and inspection tools.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Dependable: must have excellent attendancePreferredSoldering, wiring, or electrical assembly experience.Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.Experience using ERP or manufacturing production systems.Travel Requirements:MinimalPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the work shift.Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.Manual dexterity required for handling small electrical components and tools.Ability to distinguish wire colors and identify small component markings.Safety-Sensitive Position: The Production Technician position is considered a safety-sensitive position.
