Commercial HVAC Service Technician

$40-$50/hour (Based on Experience)

Role Overview

We're seeking a highly experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to handle advanced service, maintenance, and troubleshooting across complex systems including RTUs, chillers, and boilers. This is a senior-level, field-based role for someone who can work independently and serve as a technical expert on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on RTUs, chillers, boilers, and related equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance and system performance checks
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and control sequences
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and industry regulations
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing technical insight and solutions
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
• Serve as a mentor or technical resource for junior technicians when needed

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC service experience
• Strong hands-on experience with RTUs, chillers, and boilers
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and HVAC controls
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
• EPA Universal Certification (preferred/expected)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
