We bring service with passion, loyalty with purpose, and create experiences that genuinely connect—delivering quality, value, and memorable stays across 1,000+ properties in eight countries (and counting).What This Role Is All AboutIncredible guest experiences are powered by strong teams behind the scenes—and our Stewards play a huge role in keeping hotel kitchens and Food & Beverage operations clean, organized, safe, and running smoothly.As a Steward, you'll support the heart of our culinary operations by helping maintain cleanliness, sanitation, dishwashing operations, and kitchen organization across restaurants, banquets, catering, and event spaces.This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in keeping things organized, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.If you're dependable, hardworking, team-focused, and ready to be part of creating exceptional guest experiences—we'd love to meet you.What You'll Be DoingWash, clean, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, kitchen utensils, and Food & Beverage equipment.Maintain cleanliness and organization across kitchens, dish areas, storage rooms, banquet spaces, and back-of-house operations.Support kitchen and banquet teams by ensuring clean equipment and supplies are available throughout service periods.Assist with waste removal, recycling, floor cleaning, deep cleaning tasks, and maintaining sanitation standards across Food & Beverage operations.Operate dishwashing machines and stewarding equipment safely and effectively.Follow food safety regulations, sanitation standards, HACCP guidelines, OSHA requirements, and hotel safety procedures at all times.Help organize and store china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and banquet equipment properly.Assist with banquet setup and breakdown support as needed for meetings, events, weddings, and catering functions.Monitor cleaning supply levels and communicate inventory or maintenance needs to leadership.Support a clean, safe, organized, and efficient kitchen environment for culinary and Food & Beverage teams.Work collaboratively with Culinary, Banquets, and Food & Beverage teams to support smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.Help create a positive and team-oriented workplace aligned with Sonesta's People People culture.Any other duties as assigned.What Great Looks LikeHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous stewarding, dishwashing, kitchen, restaurant, banquet, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality and kitchen environment.Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and safety standards.Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and stewarding tools safely and effectively.Strong teamwork and communication skills with a positive, service-focused attitude.Dependable, proactive, and able to follow operational procedures consistently.Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in hospitality operations.A passion for hospitality, teamwork, cleanliness, and supporting exceptional guest experiences behind the scenes.Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job InformationHow We Reward YouAt Sonesta, we know showing up for our guests starts with showing up for our people.
