You'll own the infrastructure, databases (PostgreSQL, vector DBs), and architecture that powers real-time claims processing at carrier scale. This isn't a ticket-taker role; you'll deploy to production on day one, set the bar for what gets shipped, and help hire your next teammate. You'll force solutions into existence, not wait for a spec. The work Design and scale core systems for real-time AI-driven claims processing. Own the end-to-end infrastructure, architecture, and databases (PostgreSQL, vector DBs). Ship production-grade code from day one, taking full responsibility for its performance and reliability. Create specs, build features, and continuously scale the existing codebase to meet rapid growth. Help define the engineering culture and raise the bar for technical excellence across the team. What You Bring 2+ years shipping production-grade backend Python. Owned core system design (infrastructure, databases like PostgreSQL/vector DBs, architecture) end-to-end. Not just contributed. Expertise in cloud-native services (GCP/AWS, Docker) and APIs (REST/GraphQL). You can stand up services from scratch. High agency. You force solutions into existence, even without a spec.
