PULMONARY & CRITICAL CARE PHYSICIAN AtlantiCare Health System | Coastal South Jersey AtlantiCare Health System is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to join a growing, collaborative Pulmonary & Critical Care team serving southeastern New Jersey. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient pulmonary medicine, ICU coverage, and outpatient practice across two hospital campuses and established outpatient locations. PRACTICE LOCATIONS Hospitals AtlantiCare Mainland Campus Hospital – Pomona, NJ AtlantiCare City Campus Hospital – Atlantic City, NJ Outpatient Sites AtlantiCare Pulmonology Office – Pomona, NJ AtlantiCare Health Park – Egg Harbor Township, NJ POSITION OVERVIEW Balanced inpatient pulmonary, ICU, and outpatient practice Approximately 50/50 inpatient-to-outpatient mix Rotational structure: 5 days inpatient service (Mainland or City Campus) 5 days outpatient pulmonary practice One Friday–Monday ICU coverage block per rotation Night call taken from home No overnight in-house ICU call Convenient proximity between hospital campuses and outpatient sites CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provide inpatient pulmonary consultations Co-manage ICU patients alongside intensivist team Deliver outpatient pulmonary care in established clinic settings Collaborate with and support Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Participate in quality initiatives and program development Engage in teaching with residents and medical students SUPPORT & TEAM MODEL 24/7 ICU coverage provided by intensivists and APPs Dedicated APP support at each site Strong subspecialty support across the health system Collaborative, physician-led practice environment Active teaching environment within a growing academic structure WHY ATLANTICARE Diverse pulmonary and critical care case mix Established and expanding Pulmonary & Critical Care program Strong APP and intensivist support model Structured scheduling supporting work-life balance Academic growth environment with teaching opportunities Future Temple University-affiliated medical school anticipated in 2029 Coastal lifestyle with access to beaches and Philadelphia COMMUNITY South Jersey offers a strong balance of professional opportunity and quality of life, with proximity to Atlantic City beaches, family-friendly communities, outdoor recreation, dining, and easy access to Philadelphia and New York City. #J-18808-Ljbffr
