Title: Instructional Designer I
Location: New York, NY (hybrid)
Type: Contract
Our direct client is seeking an Instructional Designer I for the Digital Training team. The Instructional Designer role is responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining highly effective and engaging learning content for new technology solutions. This role blends instructional design with direct training delivery to support enterprise initiatives, new system rollouts, and ongoing organizational learning needs. The individual will leverage adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, facilitation skills, and user readiness strategies to meet the needs of diverse audiences across multiple delivery methods, including virtual instructor-led sessions, onsite training, e-learning, videos, and other digitized content.

This includes identifying readiness gaps, addressing common user concerns within training environments, and equipping SMEs to communicate clearly and consistently with their audiences. The role plays a critical function in enabling successful adoption through education, reinforcement, and practical application.
This role will help support upcoming technology training priorities in the next two quarters, including an ERP Launch and post-live support, ServiceNow, MagicOrange, AI Literacy, and AI Lifecycle Management. This role will be responsible for developing critical training resources (including Articulate Rise or Storyline courses, videos, and job aids), facilitating live training sessions, providing hands-on learner support, and regularly meeting with project/product teams to ensure go-live and post-go-live readiness.
