Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week assignment at a busy emergency department. The RN will provide rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, and treatment of patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and critical conditions. The ideal candidate is confident managing high-acuity patients, prioritizing care in a fast-paced environment, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional emergency care.

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Emergency Department experience required
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required at time of submission
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• PALS (AHA) certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Two supervisory references from within the past 12 months required
• All certifications must be active at submission; no pending certifications accepted
• Nicotine-free status required
• All RTO must be submitted with the initial application

Responsibilities include performing rapid patient assessments and triage, managing medical, surgical, and traumatic emergencies, initiating emergency interventions, administering medications and IV therapies, monitoring cardiac rhythms, assisting with emergency procedures, stabilizing critically ill and injured patients, responding to code situations, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, documenting care accurately, educating patients and families, and delivering safe, evidence-based emergency nursing care in a high-acuity environment.
