Helpt is seeking multiple IT Support Technicians to join the team, focused on driver and fleet technology support. At Helpt we provide 24x7x365 on-shore white-labeled technical support on behalf of a range of companies in MSP, Technology, and Product Support sectors whose clients rely on them for support at all hours — including trucking and fleet operations who need their drivers up, running, and compliant. In this role you'll be the calm voice on the other end of the line when a driver's ELD, tablet, or dashcam is giving them trouble — think platforms like Geotab, Samsara, and Motive — troubleshooting it fast so dispatch can stay focused on freight instead of phone calls. Schedule We are looking for a full-time team member to work 40 hours per week on a fixed schedule once assigned. Our team operates around the clock, so your shift may fall on days, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays. Exact schedule will be provided prior to your start date. Responsibilities Be excellent and friendly at all times to drivers, dispatchers, and fleet clients alike Receive inbound driver and fleet technology support calls — ELD logins, tablets, dashcams, connectivity, and more Provide technical support through service, troubleshooting, and empathy Know when a device needs to be replaced rather than restarted, and manage that process (vendor coordination, RMA, shipment tracking) without pulling dispatch into it Document things clearly — your notes might matter for a driver's Hours of Service or DVIR record, so precision counts Qualifications Excellent verbal communication skills (often the phone will be your only tool) Exhibits outstanding organizational skills with a keen eye for detail Motivated self-starter (We want to see a passion for technology and support) L1 Technical Experience in a Helpdesk Environment Strong troubleshooting skills (Home-lab counts, tell us about yours) Customer service oriented (you have to be delighted by helping people) Familiarity with the modern Windows family of operating systems Familiarity with the modern Mac family of operating systems An innate desire to see all printers launched into the sun A healthy patience for Bluetooth pairing screens that refuse to cooperate Prior experience with ELD/telematics platforms (Geotab, Samsara, Motive, or similar) is a big plus, but not required — we'll teach you the fleet-specific stuff if you bring the support instincts Bonus Skills You Should Tell Us AboutAt Helpt we want to hire a Whole Person.
