Job Title : Payroll & Timekeeping Specialist Location : New York NY 10004 Duration : 3+ months contract (Possible extension ) Education : High school diploma or GED. Shift Details : M-F schedule 8 am to 4 pm Job Description: Assist in processing payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes Review and verify timesheets, attendance records, and pay calculations Support payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies in payroll data Process deductions such as taxes, benefits, garnishments, and direct deposits Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and payroll issues Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state payroll regulations
