About the Role This is a full-time, on-site position for an experienced residential remodeling carpenter. The Lead Carpenter will perform and help lead a wide range of carpentry work, including framing, trim, finish carpentry, cabinetry support, punch list work, and general remodeling tasks. This role requires someone who can work efficiently, maintain a high level of quality, communicate professionally with the team and homeowners, and help keep projects moving according to schedule. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have strong hands-on residential remodeling experience and be able to perform carpentry work independently. Responsibilities Perform high-quality carpentry work on residential remodeling projects Complete framing, trim, finish carpentry, blocking, repairs, and general remodeling tasks Read and follow plans, scopes of work, specifications, and project notes Help maintain project timelines and communicate jobsite needs clearly Coordinate with project managers, designers, trade partners, and team members Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite Work respectfully in occupied homes Use company systems, phones, tablets, or computers for project communication and updates Follow current product installation methods and manufacturer requirements Required Qualifications Strong residential remodeling carpentry experience Skilled in both rough carpentry and finish carpentry Ability to work independently without constant supervision Experience using hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Ability to problem-solve in real remodeling conditions Comfortable using a phone, tablet, or computer for job communication Valid driver’s license Reliable transportation Own truck and tools required Ability to pass company hiring requirements Preferred Qualifications Previous Lead Carpenter or jobsite leadership experience Experience working on kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home remodels Ability to coordinate with trade partners and project managers Experience working in occupied homes with high-end clients 401(k) matching Health insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Long-term career growth opportunity Supportive team environment Who This Role Is Best For This position is a strong fit for someone who is already an experienced carpenter, enjoys residential remodeling, communicates well, and wants to be part of a professional team that values quality, organization, and craftsmanship.
