Territory Sales Representative Non Exempt Sales Oklahoma City, OK, US WE ARE EXPANDING OUR SALES TEAM! Powertrain Company (sister company to ATC) is looking for a motivated, proactive Territory Sales Representative who wants to do more than simply wait for the phone to ring. This position is designed for someone who can build and develop a sales territory , create new business opportunities, and turn company-generated leads into long-term customers. We sell remanufactured gas and diesel engines, transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials to automotive repair shops, dealerships, fleet operators, and consumers nationwide. What You'll Do As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing an assigned geographic territory. Your day will include a combination of working qualified leads generated by Powertrain Company and proactively identifying new business opportunities within your territory. Responsibilities include: Research automotive repair shops, transmission shops, dealerships, fleets, and other potential customers within your assigned territory. Identify business names, decision-makers, email addresses, phone numbers, and other relevant contact information. Build and maintain your own prospect and customer database. Conduct professional email outreach and email marketing campaigns to introduce Powertrain Company and our products. Follow up with prospects and develop relationships that can turn into repeat business. Manage and close qualified leads generated through our website, Google advertising, and other marketing channels. Maintain accurate notes, follow-up activities, and customer information in our CRM. Prepare quotes and help customers identify the correct powertrain products for their needs. Develop existing accounts while continually adding new customers to your territory. Take ownership of your territory and look for new ways to increase sales, customer engagement, and market penetration. This is not a traditional high-volume cold-calling position. We want salespeople who know how to research a market, identify opportunities, communicate professionally, follow up consistently, and build a book of business. Compensation Our Territory Sales Representatives earn $13.50 per hour plus commissions and bonuses . Average successful salespeople can earn approximately $45,000–$60,000 per year , with top performers earning approximately $85,000 annually . We believe in a straightforward compensation plan based on actual performance—not unrealistic promises about getting rich in six weeks. Training Our training program is scheduled for up to four weeks and pays $15.00 per hour during training . Once training is completed, compensation transitions to $13.50 per hour plus commissions and bonuses . Team members who demonstrate they are ready may transition to the regular commission structure before the four-week training period is complete. Most successful trainees are ready within one to two weeks. You do not need to be an automotive parts expert. We will provide the product, system, and sales training necessary to be successful. Comfortable researching businesses and finding new prospects. Organized and disciplined with follow-up. Comfortable communicating through phone and email. Able to manage both company-generated leads and self-generated prospects. Interested in developing relationships rather than simply making one-time sales. Competitive without creating a cutthroat team environment. Willing to take ownership of a territory and be accountable for its growth. Previous sales or automotive experience is helpful, but it is not required . A strong work ethic, positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to build a successful territory are more important. Why Powertrain Company?
