Quality Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Engineer to support quality initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This individual must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least two years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly on the manufacturing floor and resolving quality-related issues with minimal supervision. They should be capable of quickly integrating into the team and contributing without extensive training. Experience with data analysis, statistical methods, and quality improvement practices is highly valuable. This position will support audits, inspections, and corrective actions across multiple facilities. Travel will be required to company locations and may occasionally include international travel. During peak periods, the Engineer will spend significant time conducting onsite audits, inspections, and part replacement activities, with less than 20% of time dedicated to office-based paperwork.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of quality engineering experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and contribute with minimal training.
• Hands-on experience working on the manufacturing floor and troubleshooting production issues.
• Experience using Minitab for statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
• Internal and external audit experience.
• ASQ certification.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, hobbyist, or hands-on tinkering experience.
