Contract | Night Shift | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and surgical pediatric patients in a 26-bed PICU setting
- Manage patient assignments at a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-acuity pediatric care
- Adhere to unit-specific orientation protocols and departmental standards
- Fulfill every-other-weekend and holiday rotation requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State (NYS) Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of PICU or CVICU nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current PALS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CVICU background strongly preferred
- Experience caring for critically ill or post-surgical pediatric populations
