Job Description: Branch Manager

The Branch Manager provides leadership and direction to ensure branch operations meet financial, operational, and compliance goals while achieving profitability and growth. This role reports directly to the District Manager.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

- Operations & Compliance: Oversee day-to-day operations, process hourly payroll, and approve timesheets. Ensure adherence to company standards and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Personnel Management: Administer hiring, development, counseling, and termination for internal and external staff. Conduct weekly staff meetings and manage Staffing Specialist training.
- Financial Performance: Monitor KPIs, client satisfaction, and P&Ls. Ensure profit margins, market share, and revenue goals are met or exceeded.
- Sales & Marketing: Perform outside sales calls and lead-generation activities (50+ outbound calls per day). Implement marketing campaigns to identify market trends and competition.
- Safety & Risk Management: Perform job site safety evaluations, report injuries to Risk Management, and provide proper PPE to employees.

Required Skills and Abilities

- Sales & Negotiation: Proven ability to identify and qualify customers through cold calls, field visits, and networking. Strong closing skills and the ability to handle pricing objections.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to analyze business financials and write professional reports.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire teams across functions in a fast-paced environment. Strong relationship-building skills with employees, customers, and vendors.
- Logistics: Understanding of the dispatching process and ability to provide a "best match" for staffing needs.

Requirements & Physical Demands

- Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
- Background: Must have a clean background and driving record.
- Physical: Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, lift 20 to 50 lbs, and travel regularly to branch locations or client sites.
