Lead Accountant

Spectrum Search is working with a fast-growing holding company in Irving that is looking for a Lead Accountant to join a sharp corporate accounting team. This opportunity offers great exposure to acquisitions, system improvements, and high-level corporate close work.
Responsibilities:
- Execute key components of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries with proper supporting documentation
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support consolidations and financial statement reporting
- Analyze monthly results and variances for leadership
- Partner with AP, AR, FP&A, Treasury, and Payroll to ensure accurate accruals and reporting
- Support audits and system improvement initiatives (ERP enhancements, reporting tools)
What's needed:
- 3+ years of public accounting experience
- Active CPA certification
- Strong GAAP knowledge and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Sharp, detail-oriented, self-starter mindset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
This role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in office), genuine work/life balance with true 40–45 hour weeks, and a great resume-building opportunity. Pay is $110k–$118k base + 10% bonus.
