About the Role

We're seeking results-driven Sales & Design Consultants to join our award-winning team in Oklahoma City. For nearly seven decades, our family-owned business has built a reputation on reliability, integrity, and exceptional craftsmanship. In this role, you will guide residential and commercial clients through the entire design and purchasing process, transforming their spaces with high-quality flooring solutions. Responsibilities of a Sales & Design Consultant

• Greet showroom visitors, provide design tours, and consult on stone, tile, wood, and carpet selections.
• Deliver exceptional customer service experiences that exceed client expectations.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through regular follow-ups and consultations.
• Follow up diligently with leads, manage client databases, and network locally to build a repeat customer base.
• Schedule design consultations within our showroom or clients' homes or workplaces to ensure personalized service.
• Stay up-to-date on our extensive flooring selection, benefits, and warranties to provide expert advice.
• Collect measurements, calculate materials needed, create project proposals, and collect payments in a timely and efficient manner.
• Leverage social media platforms to build your professional network and stay connected with clients.
• Effectively manage time between showroom duties and prospecting for new business opportunities.
• Sell flooring and floor care products to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Answer customer questions and provide expert advice on decorating and design.
• Participate in comprehensive product and sales training to become a certified flooring and design expert.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting showroom environment.

Requirements for the Sales & Design Consultant

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in retail sales, flooring sales, interior design, furniture sales, or a similar role.
• College degree a plus, but not required.
• Basic computer, social media, and math skills.
• Proper phone etiquette and a positive attitude.
• Positive attitude and a strong desire to exceed expectations.
• Ability to utilize various forms of communication to follow up with vendors and clients.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong personal and professional judgment.
• Ability to respond quickly to client's needs and wants.
• Self-starter.
• Desire to grow a business.
• Excellent time management skills and detailed oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority.
• Microsoft Office or Google Workspace a plus.
• Flexible work hours to include Saturdays.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

• Paid training: We invest in you from day one.
• Base Salary: $40,000 annually
• Earning potential of $80,000 or greater annually with bonuses, growth, and advancement opportunities
• Full Time: 40 hours per week with a 5-day work week (Monday - Saturday)
