Job Description:

This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the production area. This incumbent will be responsible for ensuring top quality units are produced, implementing continuous process improvement and cost savings, and performing the everyday schedule/team management duties.

• Supervise and Develop Production Personnel
• Floor Control
• Production Reporting (Inventories, Production Achievement, Rejects)
• Quality Improvement
• Associate Communications
• Attendance Tracking (Line-up, Overtime)
• 5S and Safety Control
• Continuous Improvement (Efficiency, Quality, Budget, w/PDCA cycle)o Initiate Training and Assessment
• Associate Coaching and Counseling
• Understand and Achieve Customer Requirements (Quality, Cost, Delivery)

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

• High School Diploma or GED
• Self-directed and task-oriented
• Willing to work overtime and all shifts
• Ability to lead teams
• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

• College course work or 2-year Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership or Related Field
• 3 years of work experience in a repetitive, automotive manufacturing environment
