• Starting at $24/hr
• Bi-weekly pay

Shifts:

• Nights available
• 12-hour shifts (6am- 6pm, 6pm-6am)
• Plant operates on various schedules (schedule assignment determined by

candidate preference and plant needs): * * 2-2-3 schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation. Working 3-4 days/week (One week: Sun, Wed, Thurs & Next week: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat). interview * Post Offer background check and drug screen required Summary: Bakers are the start of the pretzel making process. You’ll be responsible for running a large mixer and extruder with computer programing and hand measuring. Previous machine operating experience is a must. Large bakery experience is a plus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all SOPs to keep consistent product quality
• Recognize the different dough textures
• Keep hoppers filled with proper amount of dough
• Properly measure the minor ingredients by performing catch samples
• Check dough temperature
• Check the flour sifter each shift
• Check all drives, cookers, salters, ovens, dryers, discharge, and proofing

conveyors to ensure they are properly operating and set to correct settings

• Document cuts per minute as required
• Check and record caustic every 30 minutes record on BakerQC
• Check wet weights/length every 30 minutes record on BakerQC
• Make inventory moves in S4 Hana
• Record all ingredient lot numbers
• Keep salter full at accurate level specified
• Notify leads, QA, and packers of any bad product and how long it will last
• Communicate with immediate supervisor if any problems arise
• All other duties assigned by supervisor and management

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire.
• High School diploma or GED
• One-month related experience or training
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using

whole numbers, and decimals Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in a manufacturing/food manufacturing environment including the following: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF), Autonomous/Preventative Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, and Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP/LPR.
