Join a company where your contributions help move the world forward—one shipment at a time.About the PositionThe Logistics Coordinator I is responsible for coordinating all aspects of inbound/outbound, planning, and distribution for the site. This position will also be responsible for customer service and returns tracking.FunctionsServe as the key Customer Service Representative and acts as a central communication hub between customers, site personnel, third-party carriers/planners, and internal network drivers if customer has integrationReceive order requests, identify availability, and prepare for shipmentPerforms site level responsibilities for daily load planning, routing, and coordinating of requests (Inbound and/or Outbound) using warehouse and transportation management systemsCommunicate with customer team members regarding inventory, sales force requirements, and scheduling of deliveriesAssures that all special customer requirements are actioned; enters proper information into the workflow schedule.May attend regional deliveries to validate processes and manage customer service expectationsMay provide direction to clerks regarding internal issues as well as customer concernsMay administer all Safety Resource Officer (SRO) trainings to new clerks and leads as necessaryOther applicable duties as assigned by management, including some Warehouse Clerk responsibilitiesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 years of experience in warehousing or DOT related environment requiredPerforms general administrative duties including but not limited to data entry, filing, and telephone/email correspondenceStrong written and verbal communication skills requiredAbility to multi-task and maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalismCompetenciesAction Oriented - Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Decision Quality - Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.Optimizes Work Processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.Situational Adaptability - Adapting approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations.DisclosuresThe statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
