Job Description
Radiologic Technologist

This position involves working as a Radiologic Technologist with varied shifts and an average of three days of call per month. There is no guarantee of hours or time requested off. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment, including DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently operate all radiographic equipment and perform imaging procedures.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of digital radiography and fluoroscopy equipment.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and workflow management.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of independent experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Possession of an active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license by the start of the assignment.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
• Experience with Philips DR, C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR is preferred.

Additional Information

Candidates must arrive on the island the Friday prior to the Monday start date for HR and Employee Health clearance appointments. No request for time off will be granted in the first 13 weeks of the contract.
