Join our team as a PET/CT Technologist in a dynamic and patient-focused environment. This contract position requires expertise in nuclear medicine in a modern setting, with a schedule split between Manhattan and Brooklyn. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging.
- Order and assure proper dose of radionuclides for patients.
- Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients.
- Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
- Safeguard patient property and health information.
- Maintain professional behavior and respect for patient boundaries.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements:
- Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification.
- State Nuclear Medicine License.
- High school diploma or GED.
- BLS certification.
- Venipuncture certification/permit.
