CT Technologist

Overview Job Title: CT Technologist Location: Long Island City, NY 11102 Schedule: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (37.5 Hours/Week) Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension Base pay range: $75.00/hr - $80.00/hr Traveler’s Pay Range: $2,800 - $3,018/Week Responsibilities Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic CT images, performing daily quality control calibration checks on equipment. Administer radiopharmaceuticals as ordered, following protocols and ALARA guidelines while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation. Maintain patient records, films, and electronic data for radiologist interpretation, complete required logs, reports, and charge documents per regulatory standards. Order, receive, and verify patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses, ensuring proper activity levels before administration. Required Experience Performs CT procedures according to the prescribed protocols to ensure uniformity and accuracy. Exercises appropriate judgment to assess and respond to patient’s needs prior to, during and after visits in the Radiology department. License & Certifications Requirements include licensing with NYS DOH in Radiologic Technologist, ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, and BLS certification. At least 1 year of CT experience; Graduate of Radiologic Technologist. New York State License (L.R.T), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT and current CT certification).
