Exciting Opportunity for Talented Respiratory Therapists! Job Description:
- Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00)
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted!
- Patient Population: Infants to Geriatrics (Primarily Adult RRT but will work with Pediatric intubated patients)
- Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- GA RRT License
- Work Environment:
- Level 2 trauma center
- Interventional stroke certified
- Level 3 NICU (Regional transport resource) - Responsibilities Include:
- Manage non-invasive ventilation and conventional ventilation
- Provide aerosol therapy and bedside pulmonary function tests
- Perform arterial lines and oxygen management
- Educate patients on respiratory care
- Perform arterial blood gases and capillary blood gases
- Draw from lines - Key Skills:
- Trauma experience required
- Pulmonary function testing (Spirometry testing) preferred
- Experience with Epic, Pyxis, SBAR, Viasys Vela, GE Carescape, Viaysis Avea
- Scrub Color: Slate Gray
- RTO: MAX 7 days
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend unless specified
