Senior AI Engineer

Job Role: Senior AI Engineer

Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

Work as an individual contributor across Java backend, frontend, middleware/API development, and Generative AI.
Build AI-powered applications using Claude, LangChain, and LangGraph.

Required Skills:

8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
Strong Java / Spring Boot development experience.
Strong experience with REST APIs, middleware, microservices, and system integrations.
Frontend development experience with React, Angular, or similar technologies.
Hands-on Generative AI / LLM development experience.
Strong experience with Claude, LangChain, and LangGraph.
Experience building AI agents, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and LLM integrations.
Strong understanding of APIs, JSON, databases, and distributed applications.
Experience with Git, CI/CD, testing, and Agile development.
Preferred: Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
Preferred: Experience with vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and AI evaluation.
Preferred: Knowledge of AI security, guardrails, prompt injection, and enterprise AI governance.
Preferred: Experience integrating GenAI capabilities into large-scale enterprise applications.
